Through the lens
Taking photographs is second nature to me, and I am hardly ever without a camera. You can often spot me cycling along the Yorkshire canals and up in the moors with a camera strapped to my handlebar! That’s my recreational photography – but I thoroughly enjoy taking photographs commercially too.
I photograph for websites, email marketing campaigns, social media, directory listings, exhibition and print material. I specialise in taking affordable photography where you are not always in a position – or the job doesn’t always call for – a big studio shoot. In particular, this helps start up businesses and SME’s to begin building up a multi-purpose image library. Previous work as a stills photography stylist and shoot director before picking up a camera myself has taught me a lot, and I can pass on my experience to your needs.
